Parking enforcement in Davie is a property manager's decision to have unauthorized vehicles removed from a private lot. Before any car is towed, confirm your signage and written authorization are in order. Call (954) 758-5905 to discuss the lot. For context, local towing figures typically run $50 to $350 per tow.
A tow from a private lot is only as defensible as the paperwork behind it. If you manage a lot in Davie, sort that out before you call anyone.
This page is for property managers and business owners, not drivers whose car was towed. If that is you, start with the lot owner.
What should be in place before a car is removed?
Posted signs that a driver can actually read from where they park. Written authority from the property owner naming who may order a removal. A record of the plate, make and location of the vehicle, with photos taken before the hook-up.
Rules on private-property towing are set by the state and local government. Check the current requirements for your lot rather than relying on a tow company's summary of them.
- Signs at the entrance and where spaces are
- Written authorization on file
- Dated photos of the vehicle in place
Who pays for the tow?
That depends on the rules that apply to your lot and on your arrangement with the operator. Ask who is billed, what the fee schedule is, and what a driver pays to retrieve the vehicle. Published local towing figures typically run $50 to $350, and those are market numbers, not this business's rates.
Can I just call when a car is in the wrong space?
You can call (954) 758-5905 to ask how an enforcement arrangement would work for your property. Do not assume one exists until it is agreed in writing, and do not order a removal until your signage and authority are confirmed.
Do I need signs before towing from my lot?
Generally, yes. Check the current state and local rules for your property and confirm signage before ordering any removal.
Is a parking enforcement tow the same price as a breakdown tow?
Not necessarily. Ask the operator for the fee schedule, and ask who is billed and when.
Will you set up enforcement for my lot?
Call (954) 758-5905 and describe the property. Terms should be confirmed in writing before any vehicle is removed.
