Machinery transportation in Davie covers moving equipment that cannot be driven or towed like a car. Call (954) 758-5905 with the machine's type, weight, dimensions and both addresses, and ask whether the operator has suitable equipment. Local towing typically runs $50 to $350, but machinery quotes depend on weight and route.
Equipment does not tow like a car. A skid steer, a mower or a generator on wheels has its own weight, its own tie-down points and its own clearance problems.
Have the numbers ready before you call Davie Towing Service at (954) 758-5905, because the dispatcher cannot quote a machine they cannot picture.
What do I need to know about the machine first?
Weight, length, width and height. The make and model usually gets you the weight from the spec plate or the manual. Say whether it runs, whether the tracks or wheels turn, and whether any attachment must travel with it.
Then say where it sits. A machine behind a gate or on soft ground is a different job from one on a paved lot.
Is this priced like a car tow?
No. Published local figures for standard towing typically run $50 to $350, and those are market numbers rather than a quote from this business. A heavy machine, a long haul or a recovery step can all move the total. Ask for the price per job and what it includes.
- Weight and dimensions
- Pickup and drop-off addresses
- Condition: running or not
Who should confirm the equipment is right?
Ask the operator directly whether the truck and trailer are rated for your machine. Do not assume it. If the answer is vague, ask again with the weight.
Can you move my equipment?
Call (954) 758-5905 with the machine type, weight and dimensions. The operator should confirm whether suitable equipment is available before you commit.
What information speeds up a quote?
Weight, dimensions, condition and both addresses. A photo of the machine also helps.
Does a machine that does not run cost more to move?
It can, since loading may take extra effort. Ask for the total before dispatch.
